To make baked baby beets
- 2-3 small Beets per Person
- a small dab of butter on each slice of beet
- Sea Salt to Taste
- Freshly Cracked Pepper to Taste
Instructions for roast baby beets:
- Rinse the beets, remove any dirt or sludge from their skins.
- If your beets are particularly large, cut them into bite-sized pieces.
- Place the beets in an oven-safe dish and dot them with better, salt and coarsely ground black pepper.
- Bake them at 375 ° F for about 30 minutes, or until they’re tender when pierced with a fork.
I put mine in the toaster oven at 300 degrees to save electricity.
